Children are like flowers in God's garden. Every so often, God wants to have a meal in his garden with some flowers on the table. He picks some blooms, some open, some not - as a perfect bud is often as beautiful as a full one. Donovan was that young bud, unopen but beautiful and he was selected by God to be beside him while he enjoys his meal. The flowers are there for us to share in. Their fragrance and beauty lingers forever.
