Ivan and Yolundie Nel were married by Donovan's bedside at the Sunninghill CTICU. the wedding which was only to take place the following year was moved up because his parents felt that they wanted him at their wedding and his chances of survival given by the specialists painted a dim picture. Pastor Dawn Brown was once again at hand for the service. a handfull of guests were permitted into the ICU where the 10 minute service took place. The nursing staff were very curious and even sang an african chant as Yolundie was walked into the ICU by Tony (Mom's boyfriend). The service went well and afterwards Ivan and Yolundie were joined by some friends at a restaurant in Midrand for a reception.
